Biography

Esma’s research interest is the photophysics of perovskite solar cells with different electron and hole selective layers. She focuses on understanding charge carrier generation, transport, and recombination processes in perovskite absorber layer and perovskite/selective layer systems in single-junction and perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells.
