Biography
Aslihan Babayigit obtained her Bachelor degree in ‘Biomedical Sciences’ at Hasselt University in 2013. Completing her degree with a Master in 'Bioelectronics and Nanotechnology’ in 2015, she currently is pursuing a ‘Doctorate in Sciences’ as a PhD fellow of Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) in the Nanostructure Physics Group at the joint Institute for Materials Research (IMO-IMOMEC) of IMEC and Hasselt University. Her research focuses on various physical and chemical aspects of the film formation of photovoltaic perovskites, with currently more attention on perovskite tandem and multijunction applications. Additionally, her focus is directed towards environmental screening and eco-friendly processing of these promising absorbers for optoelectronic applications.
