Sofiia Kosar, a recent Ph.D. graduate from the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology in Japan, has joined KPV-LAB as a postdoctoral researcher. During her time at OIST, Kosar conducted research on nanoscale defects in perovskite thin films using time-resolved photoemission electron microscopy.
At KPV-LAB, she will continue her research on perovskites, focusing on exploring their properties on micro-and nano-length scales. The goal is to help improve the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells. In her free time, Kosar enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying new types of food.
