TÜBİTAK's president Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal performed a one-day visit at KAUST and met with KAUST Provost Prof. Dr. Lawrence Carin to discuss the potential for innovative research-based collaborations.
As a part of the visit, the president visited KAUST Solar Center and KPV-Lab and got a brief about the photovoltaic technologies developed here, and met with Turkish researchers.
The Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) is the national agency of Turkey whose stated goal is to develop "science, technology and innovation" policies, support and conduct research and development, and "play a leading role in the creation of a science and technology culture" in the country.
