Aren is from Turkey. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Yildiz Technical University, Turkey, and completed his PhD at the University of Queensland, Brisbane (Australia).
Aren’s research interest lies in electro-optics of solar cells and photodetectors, charge generation and transport phenomena, charge recombination dynamics, and electro-optical simulations of photovoltaic devices.
