Luis Victor Torres studied for a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Then he moved to Germany where he had the opportunity to work as a research assistant within Cristoph Brabec’s group (I-MEET) where his focus was on transparent silver nanowire based electrodes for solar cells. In 2019, arrived at Kaust as a master's student supervised by Prof. Derya Baran. Currently, he joins the KPV-LAB group at KAUST supervised by Prof. Stefaan de Wolf for his PhD project based on interface engineering of monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells and development of slot-die perovskite solar cells for 4T perovskite-silicon tandem photovoltaics.
