Ahmed received his Bachelor's degree from Alexandria University (Egypt) and completed his PhD at Nanyang Technological University, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Singapore (2020).
His PhD focused on the fabrication of nonfullerene acceptor-based inverted perovskite solar cells and lead-free perovskite solar cells.
Regarding his professional experience, Ahmed worked as a Process Controller at Alexandria Carbon Black Company during 2007-2015.
