Ohoud studied BSc in Physics at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) from September 2016 till May 2020. Afterward, she started her MS in Applied Physics at Kaust by the fall semester of 2020.
During the spring semester of 2021, Ohoud worked with Prof. De Wolf as a teaching assistant in the Applied Quantum Mechanics course (MSE227). She was able to know and understand the work of the group. And since she was interested in collaboration by doing theoretical calculations, Ohoud joined the lab as an intern for summer 2021 to investigate and predict the influence of temperature on perovskite\silicon tandem solar cells.
