KPV-ALB joins the Circular Carbon Economy Initiative with a theme of "High-Efficiency Photovoltaics to Enable the Circular Carbon Economy". KPV-LAB contributes to this by developing state-of-the-art photovoltaic (PV) technologies.
As a general rule, the cost of PV devices is driven down by increasing the performance of PV systems. Therefore, R&D activities are needed for solar energy to improve device performance. In this direction, KPV-LAB develops high efficiency "Silicon Heterojunction Solar Cells", "Perovskite Solar Cells", and "Perovskite/Silicon Tandem Solar Cells".
