"KAUST Solar Center has a New Milestone"
KPV-LAB researchers have recently achieved >20% efficiency for perovskite solar cells
"Excellent light absorption, charge-carrier mobilities, and lifetimes of perovskites provide a paramount opportunity to achieve high-efficiency device with significant opportunities to realize a low-cost, industry-scalable technology," says Erkan Aydin who is a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Stefaan De Wolf Group. With this achievement, KAUST entered among the most prestigious institutes achieving efficiency of >20%.
