Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated young undergraduate who is keen to develop a Master's thesis in the field of photovoltaics. The area of research is focused on developing new encapsulation strategies for solution processed solar cells, specifically perovskite solar cells. The reliable packaging of these solar cells is one of the biggest challenges towards the commercialization of perovskite photovoltaics. The preferred candidate should have an undergrad degree in physics or an engineering degree (electrical engineering, chemical engineering or materials sciences preferred) and demonstrate a fundamental understanding in materials science and electrical engineering. The candidate should have an innate ability and pleasure to plan, execute, analyze, and report systematic research experiments. Hands-on experience with high-tech equipment in an R&D lab and/or professional experience in a technical/industrial environment is a plus. We expect a high level of commitment and provide first-class training in the field of photovoltaic materials and devices in return.
