Job Description

This postdoc position is for a specialist in the fabrication of perovskite solar cells and integration into monolithic silicon perovskite tandem solar cells. For this position, we are looking for someone with proven experience in high-efficiency perovskite solar cell fabrication and characterization.

Responsibilities

Development and optimization of solution-processed single-junction wide-bandgap perovskite solar

cells.
  • Interpretation of the loss mechanisms in devices and exploring novel passivation strategies.  
  • Fabricating perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells and performing device characterizations.
  • Dissemination research outputs in project meetings, peer-reviewed journals, and at international
  • conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate should have a master's degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or closely related fields.
Previous experience on high-efficiency single-junction perovskite solar cells or perovskite-based tandem solar
cells is preferred. Fundamental knowledge in semiconductor physics would be an advantage. The experimental
nature of the work requires a very high level of experimental skills to operate sophisticated machines,
independence to design and execute experiments/characterizations, and analytical mindset for interpreting
measured data. The candidate should be a good team player and should have a personal responsibility, high

motivation for innovation, excellence, and flexibility to work and deliver results.

Applicants should have a strong publication record, good spoken and written communication skills in English.
