Biography

Jinxi Chen (CJ) is now a Postdoctoral Researcher in the KPV LAB at KAUST. He earned PhD & MBA in National University of Singapore. His research focuses on high-efficiency and stable perovskite–silicon tandem solar cells. He firstly revealed heterointerface bonding–degradation trade-off mechanism of perovskite solar cells, and interface ion/hydrogen interactions of perovskite–silicon tandem solar cells. His work about interface stability and device optimization strategies has appeared in Nature Energy, ACS Energy Letters, etc. He aims to achieve industrial application of tandem technologies, and to build a clean energy system for sustainability.

Research Interests

Stability, Perovskite–silicon tandem solar cells, Large-scale processing
