Biography

Jiakang Zhang is a visiting PhD student at KAUST KPV LAB. He has been dedicated to research on the stability mechanisms and commercial applications of perovskite solar cells. His research focuses on high-efficiency and stable n-i-p normal-bandgaps, p-i-n wide-bandgap subcells, and related tandem solar cells. He first proposed the buried-interface conformational engineering strategy, breaking through traditional technical limitations and providing a new design paradigm and theoretical support for the commercialization of perovskite photovoltaic technology. To date, he has published papers as first and corresponding authors in Nat. Photon., Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Sci., and ACS Energy Lett., etc.
